Anyone interested in gaming also happens to have preferences regarding which brands they use when continuing their hobby or passion. There are better and worse ones when objectively looked upon, but your overall choices depend on your financial status, your goals with what you want to achieve or use, and your priorities.
Be wary that things can also malfunction with technology, for example when Gigabyte’s GP-P850GM and GP-P750GM power supplies were found to explode or ignite when strained. Failure rates always vary, but it is never a wrong move to take it up with the company itself or companies like America’s Remote Helpdesk.
The brands listed in this article manufacture a variety of products linked to gaming, and will also vary regarding price points. This means there will be brands for consoles, PC parts, and gaming accessories as well.

Razer
Razer has had its highs and lows. Seven years ago if you asked people about their opinions on Razer, you would’ve gotten mixed responses, since the quality of their products was debatable back then. Some individuals compared them to Beats by Dr. Dre, the products being stylish and popular, but there being cheaper and higher quality options.
That is no longer the case. Razer has evolved into a gaming staple since then, with a range of products from accessories like mouses, keyboards, and headphones, to PC parts, gaming laptops, and even an N95 grade smart-mask equipped with smartphone compatibility and RGB lights. All these products show a massive evolution on the company’s part.
The company’s motto is “For Gamers. By Gamers.”, which explains why all of their products, be it a cheaper option like the Razer Kraken X Lite Gaming Headset (around fifty bucks), or expensive like the Razer Kraken Tournament edition THX 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset (around a hundred dollars US) are all notoriously well-functioning for gamers.
Their newest gaming laptop, the Razer Blade 17 (there is also the 15, which is equally a powerhouse except smaller), is also worth mentioning. Priced at around $2 700 US, this machine holds Nvidia RTX 3080 laptop GPU, an eight-core Intel 10th generation processor, topped off by a 120Hz 4K 17.3-inch screen, all packaged in a gloriously thin shell of a laptop.
The new Zephyr mask is also worth mentioning. This mask seems to have caught many with hype since it shows a clear path towards the future. This mask purifies the air you breathe and is encased in a cyber-futuristic stylish shell. With air pollution on the rise and this recent virus, it is indeed a revolutionary product.

Logitech
Logitech is most famous for their mice, but their headsets are worthy of praise as well. Their gaming line, the “G-series” is what we will be discussing now. Parallel to Razer, they have more professional or more budget-friendly options for their customers.
Their most expensive headset, the Logitech G Pro X Gaming Headset is a close to perfect headset. With a price tag of about $190 US, this headset’s only negative was the lack of surround sound on anything except PC, but it honestly is fair, since PCs truly do lend the ultimate gaming experience anyway.
Their more budget headsets also lend users wonderful listening experiences, and some might argue their sound quality is one of the best ones money can buy for gaming.
The company offers a wide range of gaming accessories as well. They sell mouses, headsets, keyboards, microphones, webcams, digital pens, and so on.
Their overall best mouse would be the G Pro Wireless. This wireless mouse has a HERO 25K sensor, lending users a wide but adjustable CPI range, a light yet sturdy body, and adjustable RGB. On top of it all, it has excellent low latency and a high maximum polling rate.

SteelSeries
SteelSeries is another popular brand among gamers and is also used by many streamers on Twitch or Youtube Gaming, so if you’re looking for jobs in entertainment then these first three brands could be for you.
SteelSeries’ product range is keyboards, mouses, mousepads (RGB ones too), controllers, headsets, and replacement parts, something consumers can be very grateful for.
SteelSeries products are all good, and like most brands, they also have different price ranges. You really can’t go wrong with them.
Their best product is their Arctis 7 Gaming Headset. It has reliable wireless stability, a long battery life, great sound quality, and a comfortable shape to fit your skull while gaming. It comes with a price tag of $170 US, but the clear sound might as well be worth it.
Their best mouse would be the Prime Mini Wireless. It comes with Prestige Optical Magnetic Switches, making them hyper-reliable for professional gamers. It is also very lightweight, with a sleek, almost incognito design. It holds pro-grade 1-to-1 tracking and is extremely lag-free.
Another one of their products worth mentioning is the Apex Pro TKL Keyboard. It truly is innovative, since this keyboard comes with adjustable mechanical switches for customizable per-key sensitivity, extremely high responsiveness, an OLED smart display in the upper right corner to deliver you information while gaming, a sturdy aluminum frame, and a wrist rest.

Kingston
Kingston is a computer technology and hardware corporation, meaning they manufacture PC parts. The parts they sell include RAM, Solid State Drives (SSD), memory cards, readers, multiple embedded and DRAM components, and USB flash drives.
Their best line of products would be their RAM sticks designed specifically for gaming named HyperX Fury. They come in DDR3 and DDR4 options and are known to be reliable and high quality. In addition, a few come with RGB as well, for your aesthetic needs.

Corsair
Corsair is a popular favorite for many reasons. Not only do Corsair products tend to be functional and aesthetic, but also reliable and varied. They sell keyboards, monitors, headsets, mouses, mousepads, chairs, apparel, ambient lighting, propper stream lighting, microphones, cameras for your PC, stream decks, mounts, greenscreens, and so on.
On the matter of PC parts, they sell cases, fans, CPU coolers, memory, power supply units, storage, custom cooling, fully built PCs, and a variety of other components related to this hardware.
That being said, all of these products are good, some having better counterparts than others, but overall a viable choice for everything.

Gigabyte
Apart from those spicy power supplies, Gigabyte’s products are all really good in reality. Being more of a budget-friendly brand, there will be better for more money, but not everything needs to be the best when building a gaming PC.
Similar to Corsair, they make a massive range of products with differing price ranges, including gaming laptops and pre-built desktop PCs.
What they’re most well-known for are their motherboards. Their price to quality ratio is phenomenal and exclusively good things can be said about them. You get more bang for your buck with Gigabyte since you get more features on your motherboards for the same price. They would be classified within the mid to mid/high range and have always improved their products.

MSi
This brand also sells anything you could think of for gaming, their most popular item being their new gaming laptops.
Their best model is the MSi GS65 Stealth, which holds an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060, and Intel Core i7 CPU, 16GB to 32GB of RAM, has lots of storage, and an anti-glare screen. Its disadvantage is its price, topping at $2 700 US, it can be considered a bit overpriced for its value compared to Razer’s new laptop series. High price tag apart, it is very reliable.

Alienware
This brand is Dell-owned, so it has never truly disappointed the people. Their most notable products are their built gaming PCs and their monitors.
Their best monitor, the AW2721D, houses a 27-inch screen with 2560 by 1440 resolution and a whopping 240 Hz pixel refresh rate, making this ideal for professionals. The monitor costs $770 US, probably due to its high refresh rate, though it has also been reported that there is slight light bleed along its bottom edge, so you be the judge of that.

Xtrfy
Xtrfy is best known for its funky-looking mice, but they also sell keyboards, headsets, mousepads, and many other accessories.
Their best mouse would be the M4 for $60 to $70 Us. It has an ultra-light construction with the iconic Xtrfy hole-punched look. It holds a Pixart 3389 sensor and a high-quality chord.

EVGA
EVGA also makes an almost infinite range of products, but it is best known for its PC parts, namely its GPUs and their reliable power supplies in all needed watt ranges.
They have a range of budget-friendly products, so be sure to check them out when building a PC!
